I sell cricket bats. The wood required is only found in England (English Willow). My manufacturer procure woods from firms based in Kent. They ship log wood to Karachi, Pakistan and then to Sialkot (a small industrial town in Pakistan) where processing, manufacturing and finishing is done. The finished products (Bats) are send to Karachi port for shipping to Bangladesh, Kenya, Australia, and S. Africa. It’s a complicated but very efficient supply chain.
