I produce intellectual property (digests, analysis, consulting materials). So my supply chain consists of sources of information, specialists who process the information (sometimes I have to spend times training them, because their university education is not enough, so I also have training infrastructure in place too) and create the final product that is delivered to the customer (e.g. decision maker).

On the technical level there are several networks: from real life human networks to internet social networks to open sources, like conference articles, media, etc.
