I work with many businesses in my day job who manufacture products and parts. Their supply issues can range from a lack of raw material at source to issues with deliveries, to issues with monitoring their own activity on their shop floors. Many of these businesses want to create better relationships with their suppliers and customers end to end so they have more control over their organisation and their operations become more sustainable. This is not always easy though as their own customers often squeeze them on price and turnaround which doesn’t allow for much flexibility.
