I buy stuff from tesco, those things have probably had hundreds of companies involved in the production of every ingredient, buying equipment, training staff…. for each part of the production process for each ingredient.

I feel this applies to my consumption of youtube videos, ice-cream, and my use of intel CPUs for my research.
