Every two weeks, I get a delivery of an organic vegetable box from Riverford Farm in Devon. My box is delivered by Simon with a cheery greeting. Each box is accompanied by recipes and a newsletter from the owner of the business who sources his vegetables from his farm, other organic suppliers and a farm that he has in France. Riverford also manufacture products that can be delivered with the box, including delicious organic mince pies at Christmas. I enjoy cooking with the vegetables, and it has introduced me to new types of veggies that I wouldn’t have chosen myself such as Jerusalem artichokes, kohlrabi and wet garlic.
